Hôtel Sarlat - Le Petit Manoir - Hôtel de charme en Dordogne à Sarlat-la-Canéda

Hôtel splendide rempli d’histoire avec ses vieilles pierres, son magnifique escalier et les chambres remplis de voyages. Très bon accueil , personnel d’une grande gentillesse et de bon conseil. L’emplacement est idéal dans le centre de Sarlat , un petit jardin secret tout plein de charme. Nous espérons y revenir pour en profiter encore plus

Great boutique hotel in the middle of Sarlat. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool where we could sit and enjoy our breakfast. Access was a bit tricky as the main street is closed after 11 am in the morning and 6 pm in the evening in summer. Had to drop off bags and then go and find hotel parking over the otherside of the town. Staff were very helpful with the bags. Rooms were, clean and spacious and beautiful although like the rest of the city certainly not for someone with OCD. Nothing and I mean nothing was strait! Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Would recommend if you want to checkout Sarlat. Only other thing DONT BRING A BIG CAR, small compact SUV at a maximum

My only warning is if you do make the required 50% deposit and have to cancel, make sure they reimburse you via your credit card. Otherwise, watch out. I was sent a bank wire which not only penalizes you big time with a horrible exchange rate but a wire fee. Why I got a wire transfer is beyond me. I have never stayed here but it looks nice from the photos.

Cadre extrêmement agréable, au calme. Accueil parfait. Situation en plein centre historique, un peu de marche à pied pour rejoindre le parking mais on nous a proposé de l'aide pour transporter les bagages. La chambre était impeccable et sa petite terrasse privative parfaite (Impératrice Eugénie). Le petit déjeuner est parfait : varié et produits de qualité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Excellent hotel, calme et idéalement placé pour découvrir Sarlat à pied. Grande chambres décorées avec goût et très propre. Le staff est discret mais aux petits soins et très agréable.

Beautiful hotel, I cannot fault a single aspect. The lady on reception, I think her name was Valerie, was so lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and well equipped, the bed was so comfortable, and despite being in central Sarlat it was so quiet at night. The air conditioning was a great perk in an old building, and the breakfast was very good. If you have mobility issues the only downside would be a lot of stairs and no lift or nearby parking, but otherwise I would recommend this to every couple for a comfortable and romantic stay. We can't wait to come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nous avons séjourné au Petit Manoir du 30 juillet au 3 août et, tout comme l’année dernière, nous avons été ravis par cet hôtel de charme idéalement situé au cœur de Sarlat. L’accueil est chaleureux, l’équipe est à l’écoute et attentionnée. La chambre “Madame de Pompadour” est spacieuse, très confortable, et décorée avec goût. Le petit-déjeuner est composé de produits de qualité, frais et savoureux. Merci au Petit Manoir pour ce séjour toujours aussi agréable ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Stunning hotel, room & location. I stayed in Josephine Baker & it was amazing. Right in the centre of town. You can’t park at the hotel so not suitable for people with mobility issues or who don’t do stairs or walking. Pool area is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. So relaxing.

I came to Sarlat to attend a friend’s wedding, knowing absolutely nothing about the city beforehand. Choosing this hotel turned out to be the best decision of my entire trip. I arrived very late on the night of check-in, at midnight. Instead of calling to rush me, the hotel sent a clear instruction email via hotels.com, explaining how to check in at a partner hotel nearby. The night staff at the partner hotel were extremely efficient. They completed the check-in in under five minutes, walked me to my hotel, and gave me clear directions to the associated parking lot. They even called me afterward to make sure I found the parking without any trouble. Breakfast options were simple but more than enough, and the atmosphere in the dining area was wonderful. Le Petit Manoir is a boutique hotel in the middle of Sarlat-la-Caneda. I stayed for 4 wonderful nights. The hotel has an enclosed parking lot a few blocks away which is very convenient. I, like others, had a problem finding it, but I parked in a lot, called the front desk and Gail kindly came to get me and show me the parking garage! She then carried my luggage up the stairs for me. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast room is small but good to start the day. When you walk out of the enclosure for the hotel, you are right in the midst of town which is a lovely town. Make sure you are there for market day - such a big market for the size of the town! My room was spacious and I had a balcony and a walk in shower which for me was perfect. The room was clean and the bed…

Perfect location and excellent staff. Eric and Ian were great, friendly and knowledgeable. They took care of all our dinner reservations. Breakfast was delicious. The room was well decorated. Great time!

I highly recommend Le Petit Manoir and we would definitely stay here again. The front of the hotel is all medieval, stone walls and a thick wooden castle door. It was so fun stepping back in time. Upon check in, our host at the front desk, David, was very friendly and helpful. He showed us to our room that was up the spiral, castle-like staircase. It was like climbing an archer's turret to get to our room. Our room was the Empress Euginie, a beautiful room with a king bed and a small deck. We loved this room! The breakfast in the morning had just about everything we would want including eggs, cheese, meats, breads, and so much more.
