On a vu le bout de la lumière Restaurant, Rien à redire : Accueil : souriante, très agréable. Service : irréprochable dans le bon Timing. Plat: Bon produit, cuisson parfaite, viande de Bonne qualité, frites fait maison, ainsi que les desserts 🤤🥰 Rapport qualité prix excellent. Bonne continuation et merci au chef cuisinier. Un personnel très gentil et attentionné, nous étions très heureux de rencontrer cette famille, un bâtiment ancien et beau, et un excellent emplacement. Mais malheureusement, nous avons eu, la chambre la moins jolie et ce n'est pas ce que nous attendions pour un week-end romantique. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel uniquement pour la beauté des chambres et malheureusement, nous avons été déçus, cela ressemblait à une chambre de domestique entre la cuisine et la salle.

We are two elderly Australians Chris and Theresa. We stayed approx 3 weeks ago and the host and hostess were very helpful. Especially as our luggage was very heavy and difficult for us to carry upstairs. The host was very good and carried our luggage to and from the car. Breakfast was delightful , great location and well worth a visit.

È una location deliziosa, del 1502, con spazi comuni eleganti e fruibili nel centro di Sarlat ma defilata dal rumore. Noi abbiamo scelto una camera piccola, con bagno cieco, ma silenziosa e abbastanza fresca. Non c'è infatti aria condizionata. La colazione è fantastica. Nel salotto è sempre disponibile del caffè in capsule. E i proprietari sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili per buoni consigli. Consigliatissima.

Fabulous position in the old town - gorgeous old building built in 1500 ‘s - Noel and Janna are the perfect hosts - highly recommended

We have been two months in the UK and France and have had some great accommodation. Our stay at La Lanterne, hosted by Jana and Noel in Sarlat, has been easily the best accommodation we have had the entire trip. The room we stayed in has been spacious and comfortable. We have slept well. We have had the breakfast here each day which has been tasty, generous and fresh. There is a cosy common room downstairs with a lounge area and tea/coffee making facilities. Best of all, both Jana and Noel have been helpful and accommodating hosts. They both anticipated our needs and made many helpful suggestions when we have asked questions. Our 6 night stay at La Lantern was fantastic, made perfect by Jana and Noel, the hosts. Sarlat is a gorgeous medieval village full of everything you could want from such a location and La Lantern is the ideal place to stay. Set in a big French townhouse inside the medieval bit of Sarlat, you are perfectly placed for everything. The town has loads of great cafes, restaurants and shops, although bear in mind that the French eat lunch at 12-1.30 and dinner at 7-8.30 so after these hours you may be turned away - but easy and welcoming when you know! The walk up to La Lantern is quite steep but I think only folk with some mobility issues would have a problem. You can’t actually park right outside but you’re a short walk from a (pay) car park and about a 5 min walk from a free one. We never had…

Five stars is not enough for this wonderful B&B with a perfect location in Sarlat. We stayed here six nights as a central point for exploring the Dordogne and it was an excellent choice for that as well as for the many reasons we would give it ten stars if we could. In our month-long travels in France, this was by far our favorite accommodation if not our favorite in all of our travels. First, the hotel itself is in a restored house dating back to 1503. Our room, the Tapestry, was beautifully decorated with a spacious bathroom, ample storage for the time we were there, a comfortable bed with the softest sheets and duvet ever, fluffy towels, and a refreshment station with teas, coffees, electric kettle, etc. We loved that the B&B was smaller but still private with a lovely salon to sit in…

Wonderful BnB with lovely rooms, beautiful location. The highlight are the hosts, they do a perfect job. They went out of their way to prepare us breakfast even when we didn't order it the day before. Absolutely recommended for everybody who wants to experience a perfect BnB!

We had a great two nights at this historic and excellently decorated hotel. On arrival Noel greeted us warmly and offered his help with our bags. Situated a stones throw from everything we fully enjoyed Sarlat which was largely down to both Noel and Jana making us feel at home. We even had a few wines in the lovely lounge with other guests as we felt at home. Breakfast was by far the best we've had in France by quite a margin photo attached.
