צימר משפחתי מהטובים שהיינו. 4 חדרים, סלון משותף וגינה מרווחת מאד. מיקום מעולה ברחוב שקט ועם חניה מצד אחד ובמרחק של כמה דקות הליכה מהרחוב המרכזי - מסעדות וחנויות.

Parfait ! Très bien situé , tout proche du centre de Sarlat sans prendre la voiture . petit déjeuner copieux, la chambre 4 est un peu petite mais propre , confortable et calme . La maison est entourée d'un jardin très frais et nous avons pû en profiter. Le plus : les propriétaires ! L'accueil a été des plus chaleureux tout en restant dans la simplicité . David et Wendy veulent que leurs hôtes se sentent bien comme à la maison , ils sont à nos petits soins tout en restant discrets . Un grand merci à eux , nous gardons l'adresse .

Bed & breakfast tenu par un couple totalement "so british" absolument adorable ! Très proche du centre ville (à peine 10mn à pieds du centre historique) mais pourtant totalement au calme, qui plus est dans un cadre bucolique complètement reposant. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et confortable, étonnamment fraiche sans clim même en pleine canicule ! Le petit déjeuner (certes plus "continental" que "british";-) est très bien fourni, les services (un mini bar à tout petit prix, un grand jardin, une petite piscine !) complètent la superbe qualité de cet hébergement. Donc un grand merci à nos hôtes de nous avoir permis un séjour si agréable !

A really nice piece of a British B&B taste in a quiet and well maintained garden by its owners for this early 20s century house. Very close to the city center, this well established lovely couple makes it a very warm place to stay.

We had two fabulous nights staying in “Le Jardin” in June. Wendy and David are such WONDERFUL hosts and their passion for Sarlat and the surrounding area is just phenomenal! Our room had a beautiful garden view, a huge and extremely comfortable king size bed and a large en-suite bathroom. Le Jardin is just a short 5 minute walk to the spectacular medieval town, location is perfect. Oh, and the breakfast….amazing. Looking forward to returning next year!

Authentic french house hidden away from the nearby busssling local centre. A stones throw from the main drag, yet very peaceful with a largish garden full of varied vegetation and birds.

We stayed here in June 2025. The house is lovely, and the garden beautiful. The hosts, Wendy and David, are kind and helpful. It was a bit of a walk to downtown for seniors like us. Sarlat is charming.

Precioso y encantador bed&breakfast. Desayuno muy bien, es un lugar para disfrutar del silencio. Los propietarios son un amor. Seguro que si volvemos en la zona, repetimos.

On our second visit to Sarlat, we had the wonderful fortune to stay at Le Jardin Sarlat, David and Wendy Prothero’s charming B&B just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Sarlat’s historic medieval quarter. Wendy and David are gracious, welcoming hosts – a fantastic resource for all sorts of information regarding Sarlat and its Dordogne environs. We found their knowledgeable insights regarding local culture, chateaux and other sites, as well as restaurants (for which they were happy to make us reservations) incredibly helpful in tweaking our itinerary. Their open hospitality, pristine rooms and beautifully presented indulgent breakfasts prepared us well for our daily excursions in and about the area. Many of the great reviews already say what we want to say. Wendy and David are the heart and soul of Le Jardin. They welcome you like a long lost friend, spend time chatting in between our visits to Sarlat and the sights on the Dordogne and make you feel special and soon you do feel as if you are just friends. If you do have any issues with your stay they'll want to hear about it, because they just seem to care ! I'm left with the pleasant memory of a complementary drinkable prosecco and a goodbye chat with them on their relaxing tropical verandah. It will be hard to resist the temptation to return !

The house is very nice with a large garden, less than 10 minutes walk from the town centre of Sarlat. David and Wendy are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, continental and a hot dish. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

What a welcoming couple the Protheros are! Great assorted breakfast menu, comfortable rooms and surroundings. Nothing to much trouble - reservations, suggestions - just ask!

The hosts are kind, friendly, and helpful. The property is charming with beautiful gardens. The walk to the old town is no more than a couple of minutes. Highly recommend!

Chambre d'hôte très agréable les propriétaires sont très sympathiques . Maison située au fond d'un jardin toit verdoyant. Seul Les chants des oiseaux vous réveilleront. Nous recommandons se lieux.

5 minute walk from the old city square. The proprietors speak French and English and put on a nice breakfast. They helped me find my way around. I sat in their lovely, dense garden each afternoon with a quick glass of wine before going out for dinner. Talked to the cat and rabbits and parrot, too! Comfortable bed and hot water. Walk everywhere easily. Good eats, like regional specialty of canard (duck) truffles (such variety) and inexpensive wine just that close by.

A lovely tranquil spot, just 6 min Ite walk from all the delights that Sarlat has to offer... Wendy and David are the perfect hosts. The house and gardens are truly charming.. Highly recommend
