Fantastic place very close to the old town

I stayed here for a week in September 2025, but broken up by a short stay in La Roque-Gageac. It was not only the best place I stayed in in the Dordogne out of 5 places, but it was also the most comfortable one. Chris and Amanda and their helper were friendly, helpful to a fault, and just a joy to talk with. The rooms were large, comfortable, and the climate control was great. The bathrooms are huge, as Chris put in both a bath AND a separate shower to satisfy all tastes. They have an indoor sitting area for guests with books and magazines, an outdoor terrace for everyone off of a small kitchen area where we all could access coffee, drinks in a fridge, and small snacks. I bought dried sausage and goat cheese in the market, and sat on the terrace with crackers from the snacks, a cutting bo…

We had the room on the top floor and it was perfect. Windows open to the park and the kitchen has everything you need for a stay. The location is wonderful, near the town center. The owners are so nice, parking is available on site so you don't have to worry about your car. I would absolutely stay here again. It was one of our favorite spots!

Stayed 2 nights. Wished we had planned for longer. Every B&B owner should stay here once to understand what 5 stars really is. Beautiful home, lovely large rooms, outstanding bathroom, quiet location and effective AC if you need it, all easy walking distance to the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat.

We stayed in Sarlat for three days. We chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had parking. When we arrived, we were greeted by Chris, the owner who was as pleasant as could be. We parked our car in a garage on the premises (there is outdoor parking on the premises as well) and were shown to our room. The room was quite large, and not only by European standards, and nicely decorated. In the house, there’s a coffee maker and snacks, and a refrigerator with wine, water and beer which you can have on the terrace. Chris was very helpful with suggestions for sites to visit. We travel light and when we asked Chris where we could get our laundry done, he replied, we can do it, and there was no charge. Simplemente magnífico. Chris es un gentleman y está pendiente de todo. La casa es preciosa y las habitaciones muy espaciosas y con aire acondicionado. Hay ascensor. Hay un office para tomar cafés, agua o cerveza. La sala de desayuno es muy bonita y el desayuno de gran calidad. En la parcela/jardín se puede aparcar. Hay terrazas con mesas y sombrillas con buenas vistas. El baño espacioso y muy dotado. La casa aunque está a 50 metros del centro es muy tranquila y se duerme sin ruidos. En fin, RECOMENDABLE 100%. Repetiría con los ojos cerrados.

Ubicación excelente, habitación amplia con todo lo necesario y más, el baño enorme, con bañera y ducha separadas. Terraza privada, cafetera, nevera y todo lo necesario para tomarte un café o un té, agua una copa de vino o un zumo, acompañado de unas pastas, todo ello sin cargo alguno. El anfitrión muy amable y atento, nos dio toda clase de explicaciones. Muy recomendable.

What a lovely B and B. Chris was so welcoming and helpful. The property is gorgeous. Our room (#3) was spacious and nicely appointed with a modern bathroom. The location near the walled part of the city is perfectly situated. Directly across from a park, the area is quiet, while still being close to everything. We took advantage of the 2nd floor terrace at the main house. It offers lovely views, while sipping a coffee/tea. We didn’t try breakfast, but the room is lovely and airy. The tables appointed with beautiful china. It was a great experience.

Fantastic 5 day stay at this lovely B&B. The house itself was beautifully decorated and well maintained/renovated. The room was superb (large, great air con, bright, lovely bathroom with toiletries provided.) Our bed was large and very comfortable. We had breakfast each day which was the usual meats, cheeses, pastries, fresh juice etc, but Chris also provides egg and toast cooked whichever way your prefer, and at a very reasonable price. There is also a communal coffee making area, and fridge with complimentary refreshments. The house is located at the edge of the old town (literally 2 minutes and you are there) and has good parking facilities. Above all, our hosts Chris and Amanda were very hospitable and helpful. This Hotel is beautiful and Chris made us feel very much at home.

Localização no centro de Sarlat mas numa área muito calma e próxima de um lindo jardim. Apartamento extremamente espaçoso, com uma cozinha muito bem equipada e uma varanda com uma linda vista sobre a cidade. Os donos são muito simpáticos e prestáveis. Tem estacionamento gratuito no local. Durante o dia estão disponíveis várias bebidas e snacks. Pequeno-almoço muito bom. Adorei tudo e, se algum dia regressar a Sarlat, voltarei a ficar no The Parc Place.

Amazing! Our touring guests love this place. Very devoted owners. The views are breathtaking. They even have an elevator!! Highly recommended.

Outstanding Accommodation and Facilities. We spent three nights at The Park Place and were very impressed. The location was just perfect, over the road from Sarlat Park and within 100 metres of the old town. Our room was new, very spacious and contained a comfortable Queen bed, quality linen and pillows, somewhere to sit and relax and had an excellent bathroom with plenty of toiletries. Rooms were serviced each day which surprised us as we were used to using the same towels during our frequent stays. Complementary tea, coffee, numerous drinks, biscuits, books, brochures etc were available in the guest lounge. We used this each day when returning from a long drive and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having a tea or coffee. This is just one of the many touches we noted that were provided…

Séjour fantastique tout est très calme et en même temps proche de la vieille ville. La suite qui fait 45 m2 environ est très bien équipée. Literie plus que parfaite. Deux terrasses sympathiques.
